“Freejack” is a film about a racer named Alex Furlong (Emilio Estevez) who is abducted by means of a time travel device seconds before his fatal accident in the modern day. Victor Vasendak’s (Mick Jagger) technological team is the ones who yanked Alex from his proper time to sell his healthy body to a dying millionaire named Ian McCandless (Anthony Hopkins) who will use him for a mind transfer. Alex escapes only to discover he’s in a war torn future where there are little rights. Now he has to figure out how to survive, dodge Vasendak’s goons and repair his broken relationship with his fiancée Julie Redlund (Rene Russo) who just happens to be McCandless’ right hand executive.
