One of the artist back when I first began visiting Tønder Festival in the beginning of 1980′
along with Iain MacKintosh was Holly Near.
One concert was all it could amount too, but what an impact it had. It was a fascinating performance I still remember it.
I resently stumble over her site on the internet ( www.hollynear.com ) and she is still going strong. Here is a sample from CD “Edge” which captured the tone and the feeling from that long ago concert in Tønder (Denmark) festival.
